That's it. That's the whole tip. Read your work out loud. You can read it to yourself, to your imaginary friend, your dog, or a bunch of stuffed animals. It doesn't matter. Just read it out loud. It's even better if you can read it to a live audience (the dog doesn't count), but that can come later.
